Setting the Tuition
Tuition and fees are set in Euros and U.S. Dollars. They are periodically adjusted for exchange rate purposes.
At John Cabot University, we are committed to the well-being of our students. The pricing of JCU tuition, fees, and housing in U.S. dollars eliminates the exchange rate risk for our US-dollar-paying students.
The University reserves the right to adjust tuition and other fees as the need arises. However, no such changes will apply to the semester or session in progress, and every effort will be made to maintain the same fees throughout any given academic year. The University will make and announce changes as far in advance of the effective date of change as is feasible.
U.S. citizens residing in the United States, permanent residents of the United States and Canadian citizens pay tuition and fees in dollars as posted in the schedules or payment plans on the JCU website.
Citizens and residents of other countries will pay tuition and fees in Euros according to the schedules posted on the JCU website.
Advance Fees and Deposits Policy
1) The $50 (€50) Application Fee is due before the application can be processed. It is non-refundable.
2) The $500 (€500) Tuition Deposit, due upon acceptance, is required before the JCU visa letter can be sent (in the case of non-European residents) and before your place in the university can be held (in case of all students). This advance deposit will be credited against the final tuition bill. The Tuition Deposit is non-refundable in case of cancellation, withdrawal, suspension or dismissal from the university. In case of deferral, it may be applied to the next term’s tuition.
3) The Housing Placement Fee ($1000 or €1000 for Fall and Spring Semesters, $600 or €600 for Summer Sessions) is due when you request housing, and is required before a housing assignment can be made. It is not a refundable deposit, but an advance that will be credited against the final bill. The Housing Placement Fee cannot be refunded in case of cancellation, withdrawal or indefinite deferral, but may be held on account for one academic year in case of deferral. Please see the Housing website for further details of the Housing Options and Prices.
4) The Meal Plan Application Fee ($50) is due on applying for the Meal Plan. The total Meal Plan cost ($1400) is due at the same time as the Full Tuition Payment. |
