Transfer Students

JCU Welcomes Transfer Students from the U.S. and All Over the World!

Maybe you want the unparalleled experience of finishing your education in Rome. Or perhaps you want a lively and engaging university environment, one where you can develop intellectually and personally under the guidance of professors interested in helping you reach your fullest potential.

John Cabot University has a long tradition of welcoming transfer students who want the international liberal arts education we offer. Our students come from more than 40 different countries, including Italy and the United States, enriching classroom discussions and the vibrancy of our community.

Wouldn’t you like to add your voice to the mix?

Transferring to JCU is easy:
  • Request a preliminary evaluation of your academic credits to see how long it will take to complete your JCU degree:

COMPLETE THE JCU TRANSFER CREDIT EVALUATION FORM

Please note that this preliminary evaluation is based on your own self-reporting of courses and grades and is designed to provide you with information that is as accurate as possible regarding time to completion. A final, official evaluation will be made by the JCU Registrar at the time of acceptance.
  • Contact an admissions counselor, who will personally help you decide if JCU is right for you.

  • Keep in mind that you can transfer up to 60 credits (more may be transferred with special permission) out of a total of 120 required for a degree.

  • Don’t worry about SAT or ACT scores for U.S. transfer students; we only need your college transcripts.
  • Remember, the same scholarships that apply to four-year students apply to transfer students.
  • Set up an appointment with Career Services once you arrive at JCU to begin preparing for internships and other opportunities that will build up your international resume.
