Put Your John Cabot University Degree to Work through the Career Services Center!
John Cabot University’s Career Services Center is your bridge between your academic and professional careers. Whether you want to pursue further study in graduate school or hope to begin a career, we can help you achieve those goals.
To get the most out of our office, make an appointment to meet the Career Services Coordinator early in your university career. Not only can we help you align your academic and career goals, we can suggest community service opportunities, student activities, and work study jobs that can provide career insight and valuable resume-building experiences beginning your first semester.
As you progress academically, we will work with you to research and find internships, prepare a resume, practice interviewing and plan your job search strategy. If you plan to attend graduate school, we will assist you in that process as well. Internships may be done for academic credit in lieu of an academic course; if you are interested in this option you should discuss it well in advance with the For-Credit Internship Program Director and with your advisor.
The Career Services Center also offers regular workshops, an Alumni Mentoring Program, and an annual Career Fair to help you connect with employers, internship hosts, graduate schools and volunteer organizations.
The Career Services Office is open to degree-seeking and study abroad students as well as JCU alumni.
